    I'm having trouble deciding what tires to put on my '72 squareback.
Has anyone succesfully put 195/50 tires on?  I'm getting 5.5 inch stock
wheels.  The local VW shop told me that tires that low would mess up the
gear ratio but I don't know how much of a problem that is and if I
should care about it.  They also said the±{Œnes would rub.  Does
anyone have any input?
