[T3] Mich. to upstate NY/PA trip VW spottings........ sort of.

Well...............
I took a trip Saturday.....
Had to drive from Mid Michigan to Pennsylvania ( 1 mile over state line of 
upstate new york ) to pick up a motor ( we'll go into that later.....)
my entire  (aircooled ) vw spotting experience -- after 18 hours on the road  
1200 miles -- went like this.........

1 dark blue 65/66 bug being towed by by a 35 foot motor home < apparently as 
their  " regular " transportation ------ cool > upstate NY just putside PA on 
on 90/rte 17.

1 NICE thing sitting outside a house in upstate NY. Kinda jacked up but 
veeerry, veerrryy ß>d neat looking.

1 junked big sitting in a yard on rte. 17 in upstate NY.

and an orange Baja being towed on 90/ 80-80 tpke in PA -- baja looked to be 
veery nice also.

never-never-never-never drive 18 hours by yourself on a VW expedition.... 
man..... out was fine..... but coming back......... jeez -- just inside of 
Cleveland -- someone may have seen me bouncing inside my minivan -- waving 
and people and laughing -- singing -- trying to stay awake -- head hangin' 
out the window - tongue out -  I just kinda lost it .............alll this 
for a cheap type4 motor.......... The SO called me on my cell phone but hung 
up on me and called back 10 minutes later........ apparently I was ranting 
about the rock and roll hall of fame and all my friends waving to me from 
their cars -- whooo... too much fast food and caffiene..........
