[T3] Overloading the Regulator!

    Today after replacing all the burnt wires to new ones. I was excited to
start the motor and it did purred for a while until I startedÖÙÊl
something burn. The smell is coming from the regulator! I noticed on the
side of "D+" started to smoke away! I had to turn off the engine before my
new wires fried up. I did polarized the generator and the problem still
continued! I also heard the regulator is clicking like if it is sending me a
message in a morse code.
    Do I have to get a new regulator?
