Good morning,
Sometimes the accelerator pump check ball can become stuck due to varnish or
gunk. The check ball is accessible by removing the threaded plug that is in
the float bowl. Find a screw that fits the threads and pull the plug out,
then remove the ball and clean the cavity. You can check for a stuck check
ball by removing the diaphragm and squirting carb cleaner or air through the
hole behind diaphragm. Cleaner or air should come out the fuel tube.
