This message went to my address and not the vwtype3.org address. I've done the same thvVF‡ times and have to remind myself to check every time. Also, I have no idea what your name is (except Gallmans@aol.com), so forgive me if I don't call you by name. I think you have dropped in on a typical first time list subscription instance. You have walked into a room where a conversation has been going on for a LONG time. So I'll fill you in with a summary: Politics: Not really. When you read my rant, I was OVERstating the issue of someone being overlooked. After cooling off, I realized I went overboard on this. I appologize. Email List T-Shirt: At first it really does sound completely stupid. Here is the reasoning behind it, I do not know you, You do not know me, If by chance we both attend the same VW show, we would have the chance to meet by recognizing the T-Shirt! I, for example, have met other Texas email list members at the shows and it's nice to put a face to an email address. It just takes a lot to find out who is who at the show. The Squares you have are among the second most popular models. You more than qualify for the list. Even if you didn't have and VW's at all, you would qualify for the list. That was part of my overly stated point that everyone is and should be included. I appologize to the low-milage email-listees if I sounded like I went off a cliff and I hope this may clear up a few issues.
