This sounds like a 68-71 pulley and, yes, the left notch is TDC. The others are 7.5, 10 and 12.5. A 72 usually has a rather special tune- up procedure and the 72-3 pulley is also different. What you need to do depends on what year your engine is. Does your dist have a vacuum cannister with two vacuum connections? How many pins are there on your throttle valve switch? If someone has changed everything so it really is a 71 (for example) then you should tune it like a 71.
