It's a good idea not to use a different type of grease without cleaning the
old out.  Some special greases don't mix with each other.  The best advice
anyway is to clean the joints out and re-grease once they're off, but if
time is that short, don't mix grease types.

Lubricants change, and usually for the better. I am surprised that
the moly greases are going out of style, but I haven't shopped for it
for several years.
