Surprise, surprise... Found a note on the windshield of the '69 this morning; goes perfectly with the new DENT in the left side. (Looking on the bright side, at least somebody left a note!) Looks like he swung a tad wide when parking next to the Square, and pushed in an area just forward of the left rear wheel. After just a quick inspection this morning, it appears to be confined to the rear fender. The paint did not appear to be scraped through to the metal, but there are some spots where it's been scraped off a layer or two. There is no gouging; I would expect that the offending car was a modern one with those styrofoam(?) bumpers, and it just basically pushed in a one or two square foot region of the fender & made it concave with a depth of a couple of inches. The other guy's insurance person is going to come haveƒ:éKat it in the next day or two.
