With a warm engine and SAE30 or 40, I expect 8-12 psi at idle and 24-
28 at idle. The pressure relief valve is supposed to limit the 
pressure to no more than 28 psi, but this can be overwhelmed by a 
cold engine, oversized oil pump, or heavy oil. I have seen 42-44, but 
this is really not desirable.
