After using, and liking, the QP extractor exhausts for many years, I finally gave up on them about 10 years ago. I prefer the better fit and better sealing of the stock mufflers. It is a little known fact that the GOOD stock mufflers have internal pipes that make the exhaust ports equal length. I suspect that extractors will give a bit better power, but they don't seem to last as long, and I was always having to replace the donut seals on them as things loostened up. > btw, does the FI make the car more forgiving to different mufflers - as in, > does it adjust the mixture accordingly? I think so. The cyl head temp sensor should give the necessary feedback to correct this.
