    Thanks to all who responded to my post about the fuel pump and pushrod
tubes.  a couple of clarifying points:

        1.  To Phantom Menace - I know all about the PSI differences FI to
carb ( my first fasty Ÿ—í
 converted to carbs with old electric FI pump
left in place.  Blew the floats out of my carb and BIG fire!  I currently
have a mechanical on the Fasty I was referring to here.  There are no
mechanical FI pumps are there?

        2.  A lot of you came down on mail order companies for not knowing
their stuff, I agree.  But my comment on the guy asking "what are pushrod
tubes?" was at a VW dealer!  That was what shook me up as well as his price
of $16.95 each for factory tubes!

      Next question, what's the easiest way to check if the rear ( front?)
main seal is leaking at the flywheel?  My engine is already pulled.  Just
turn it around and look for gunk?
