RE: [T3] Hood Adjustment - broken wire


How about making a extra "safety wire" setup a«la the emergency opening
mechanism on a washing machine: a few feet of metal wire that goes from the
lock lever (where the original wire is attached), runs along the front
apron, through the inner wheel well and ends with a key ring or something,
somewhere behind the headlight pot (or even inside the pot!). In case
needed, you just had to put your hand up under the fender, pull the string
and voil‡, the hood will open. 
Drawback: a little higher risk for theft and unwanted visitors, but I dont
keep much valuable stuff in the car anyway.
