There should be no problem with just doing one or both heads. Actually; by my calculations, I was properly adjusting #4. Sadly, a PO had switcèæjÛistro cap wires around, and #1 wasn't in the right position. After a friend pointed that out, I re-ran the wires, adjusted the valves on the new pattern, and *blammo* purrs like a kitten. Hold a ruler across the 4 valve ends. Can you tell if this valve is too far in, or too far out? Actually, the heads are new Brazilians; and #4 intake is .01" farther out than the rest, but once I'd gotten the positioning on the distro cap correct, I was able to compensate. I was initially very frightened that I'd purchased a chump-head, and would have to re-remove the engine and replace it. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Too much?
