My 1970 FI squareback is as close to perfect as it has ever been. I've solved the surging idle problem( if you remember from past postings, I've changed all my fuel lines, fixed my gas gauge changed out the pressure sensor, put on new wheels and tires, and thoroughly cleaned the engine. I am ready for the 800 mile road trip that I will be taking in 3 weeks except for one small problem, my car is missing at low RPMs. §…most positive that I have an injectors or two which has become clogged but I don't know which one. (I did visual test as described in Bentely, but the spurts are just too damn fast for me to see anything) So I took it to a Lube place to have the injectors cleaned but they ran into another problem. I had no suction in the vacumm line running from the distributor to the AID. You can take the entire line off the car and it doesn't affect the way it runs a skosh! Where should I start looking for the root of this problem. I leave in three weeks so any troubleshooting tips will be extremely helpful.
