Youre not alone - 2 years ago i was stranded along the ïS-²with a bug that just hacked and sputtered and finally wouldn't run at all. Spent hours changing and adjusting everything - points, condensor, cleaned the carb, changed plugs, changed fuel pump (it was a long trip so I had both tools and a load of spare parts in the trunk ;-)) - but no improvement. Finally I accidently noticed that the little metal tip on the rotor had fallen off... Started right up after putting a new rotor in! *sigh* So I know that stupid feeling, too! /Karl-Olov Sandin >-----Original Message----- >From: MNWebb@aol.com [mailto:MNWebb@aol.com] >Sent: den 2 juni 1999 01:36 >To: type3@vwtype3.org >Subject: [T3] A lession (or time to laugh on my behalf) > > >A little story - As a few of you may remember a while back I >was asking >questions about FI fuel pumps and how to tell if they are >still working >properly.
