These bails are also one thing to look out for! My friend purchased a set of chromed Taiwan rocker covers with bails, and while the covers are ok, the bails were just crap. They were good to put on one time, we had to re-adjust the valves on his new (bug) engine after 1000kms, and when we put the cover on, it was very loose. Cover off again, checked the gasket were seated right, and quickly realized the bail was weak, and not doing its job properly. I tried to bend it back, and it was a soft as boiled spaghetti! Well, not so soft, but still, it took no effort to bend them. After digging through a pile of parts in my garage, we found a pair of original bails, and problem solved.
