Could be the horn itself, the fuse, or bad connections (there's usually no horn relay on Type 3s unless it has twin horns). Try putting a wire to the body from the±³²rminal with the brown wire, with ignition on, and see if it works. If so, there is a poor contact in the earthing/horn button circuit. It may be just a bad contact on the back of the steering wheel, or a corroded connection rather than the horn itself. There are some less obvious parts of this circuit, so you may need to post here again for further advice. If it is the horn at fault, you just need one that fits physically and is the same voltage as the car (probably 12V) with two contacts (some earth through the body and would be no good). Dave.
