>40mm is too big for a 1776, 32 is OK or 34 if your always winding it out. >and the 1776 will have shorter life according to Berg,, he didnt want to >sell me 90.5's >Keith I am running dual 40mm DCNF's on a stock 1600 with no problems at all. No stumble 6Lkrr off idle (had to go from 32mm main venturi's to 30mm) and runs fairly clean, maybe a little rich. It took me 6 months and oxygen sensor/gauge setup and a stash of jets from an old timer to finally get them setup right. Just make sure you match up the exhuast system to it. I run a 1.5 in merged. It is prob a good idea to run the thick wall 88 p&c's like Berg recommends and use a 74mm crank for a 1.8L. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe? mailto:type3-request@vwtype3.org, Subject: unsubscribe
