I think the codes should only be in the possession of VW agents (and then only those who were around at the time and have kept them!), but a locksmith 银[ up the profile from the lock itself anyway. You can see useful info about the locks on my technical pages - look for the spanner (sorry, wrench!). I've seen the codes for profiles with the dates and vehicles; when I catch up with it I'll post it. Dave.
