[T3] steering column change

Listees (Listers?!),

    I wrote a couple of days back asking if anyone had changed out a
steering column in a late model Fasty ('72).  There is no mention of
removing / installing a column in my Bentley (at least I didn't see it).  Is
this pretty straight forward, any wiring concerns, any surprises one should
know about?  With all of the restorations mentioned in this list, I know
someone has had to have done this.
