Well, while removing the header from the #3 cylinder, it happened. That feeling of too much resistance and not enough motion of the nut. Yepš,&essed - sheared the stud right off. I'm hoping it is possible to drill this out and replace it w/o having to replace the head. Yes / no? One other question - the PO before the PO I bought the car from had the cooling duct vent (the one actuated by the thermo under the #1&2 cylinders) welded open. I'm sure no harm except that the engine will take longer to heat up, right?
