There have been a number of 4 tip exhausts made correctly for type 
3s.  I guess you won't really know for sure until you try it, but it 
will probably be fine.

If the problem is just that the rear is sitting high, then it's the 
lack of an engine.  If the front is ALSO sitting low, then you could 
have 1 or 2 broken fron torsion bars, or a car that someone has 
lowered.

the ECUs seldom go bad.  I know of no way to test them except for 
installing them on a known good car.
