What Jim means by this is that if you look at a cylinder head off a type 1,
in the combustion chamber, the sealing surface ( where the cylinder sits in
the head) the type 1 head has a raised surface which increases the size of
the combustion chamber volume, type 3 FI heads do not have this raised
area.......
