Does it exhibit |the complaining if not moving -- can you rev it up while parked? | Toby Erkson (also Keith and Brian) ============================================= yes exactly, only when i try to drive it , and then only when it's under a real load. I'll replace the points and condenser tomorrow, they are fairlynew( 1 month before my rebuild) but that seems to be the general consensus. can we have a refresher on carb rejetting. i had been told it took more complex electronics o2 and co2 sensors and other testing equipment. but, if someone else has already done all the testing for this engine configuration and all i need is a jet drill, that's great! a mechanic( you remember the a** hole who did the half a valve job) told me that even if i rejetted my carbs it would not work on my engine setup. he said the carbs wouldn't breath enough air for the displacement, and that dumping in more fuel would just make it run too rich. I'm not believing much of anything م\… anymore and I'm kind of wondering how he keeps his job. thanks Brandon 73 square ------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe? mailto:type3-request@vwtype3.org, Subject: unsubscribe
