Peter, check out the pictures at http://members.xoom.com/Jake_Kooser/tin/ That's the tin off of my '73 engine. There should be two separate pieces at the spark plug area (pic 002) I pointed out the upper one (pic 003) and the lower one (pic 004) with a screwdriver in their assembled locations, and separate from the rest of the tin in pics 005 and 006. Hope this helps! I have one pair of the upper pieces extra, but none of the lowers.
