What are the chances of maybe moving the intake to the very end of the fender right where it meets up with the door? I've never held a welder so I may be talking out my arse, but if you were to modify the very end of the fender and add a little scoop there (inward facing scoop, like the vents are on the late models) and routing that air to the back there the original vents would have been?. Seems like you could use some thin bendable sheetmetal to create a duct and weld it to the inside of the fender? possible? Matt P.S.
