Re: [T3] Oil in exhaust!?


You're always going to get carbon in the exhaust pipe, so black is
normal.  Get it warmed up and see if it still has liquid in there, you
should be able to tell right now, though, whether it's oil or
condensate mixed with carbon.  I've built a few engines and have never
noticed oil in the exhaust pipe, broken-in or not.  Oil leaking from
other areas, but not in the pipe.  Hope you ran the initial break-in
procedure before taking the road.
