Absolutely! Certainly I, and I know many others who want to help as much as we can. $1500 could be the magic number. You haven't really supplied enough information, though. Get a really good look at the typical rust areas; how's the paint/glazing/interior? FI or carbs, how does the engine run? How much oil does it use? Start with the general used car basics, and then we can get to the T3 specific stuff. $1500 sounds about right for an average, daily-driver type of early square; maybe a couple of minor things wrong with it, but it'd pass state inspection. That's just speculation, though; you know what a good used car feels like. This might be really spiffy though, with pop-outs, heater, teak rain rail mounted roof rack; all of these things would add to the value of the car, and to some extent offset mechanical or cosmetic flaws.
