Since we're also type II fans, we went to the OCTO (orange county transporter owners) show today to have a look around. At the last OCTO meet we picked up a set of fog/drivibg lights for the 71 Notch for $30 so we were happy. Today we were looking at the different swap spaces and stuff and out of the corner of my eye, I catch a T3 tail light lens attached to a bumper. I look over and think "hey look, isnt that funny, a late model square/fast fender at the OCTO meet. As I take a closer look I realize the fender doesnt have any vents on it. Before getting too excited I think to myself "some fool must have cut them out and smoothed it all over" but upon closer inspection we come to realize that it actually is a late model Notchback Fender and the guy doesnt know that they're absolutely impossible to find. So a few BSΘ>Û nd $50 later we're walking away with a rust free, mostly bondo free late model fender and the guy's thinking to himself "man what tools, late model parts arent worth crap" and we're walking away thinking "man, what a tool, we scored on that fender" SO that's our show report. There was a freshly painted late model yellow fastback with bullet front turn signals there too. So dont pass up the bus shows, you never know what you might find.
