|Yes, the Rabbit seats fit, as would Golf seats too. I have Rabbit GTI seats
in
|my '73 square. What you must make sure is the height of the two legs at the
|rear of the seat. Some VWs have 1" legs, other have 3-4" legs. The '73
needs
|the long legs. In addition, you may have to force the legs apart a bit,
thay
|can be too narrow to fit the tracks. It is worth it, though.

what year Rabbit or Golf?   i could find a decent set in a salvage yard much
easier than a type 3.
of this i am almost certain.
