I was going to check that out, but after I received a set of fastback
popout assemblies from a junkyard I realized how different they really are.
The fastback popout seal is a rigid thing that holds the window, which
itself has no frame. There's no hinge...the seal rubber gives a bit, and
the glass bends a bit. So I don't think anything from any other VW popout
mechanisms will work on the fasty. I wonder why nobody has ever tried to
reproduce the seams, though...
