Dave Buckholts asked about electric heaters.... I bought one of just about every kind from the JCWhitney catalog (yeah, I know.....) a few years ago for a project here at Ford (in my first go round). We were looking for a very low cost heater for a car for a 3rd world country. All of the heaters were junk! A few made some heat, but none of them moved much air. I can't recommend any of them.
