Another thing to try now would be to just unplug the cold start valve ***Will do that next. I really mean NOT AT ALL. No start, no run, no idle. ***Oh. Does your car leak gas if you fill the tank all the way up? ***No. Does it smell of gas after left turns when the tank is near full? ***No. By connector tube do you meant he 3/4" rubber tube with the right angle bend in the end? That's the one that will break and leak gas out and water/dirt in. ***I'm thinking back, and I remember the fuel-fill tube (likely 3" in diameter), but not a ²" line. This doesn't mean it wasn't there, I just don't remember it. No, wait, I do. It somewhat resembles heater hose, on a water cooled car?
