I've investigated that, and even gotten new braided hose for the vacuum side (burning my knuckles beyond recognition in the process). Unless I've toasted *another* MPR, I think I'm good on that score. The symptoms are a *hair* different; when my last MPR died, it *WOULD NOT* run. Now, it will (assuming the battery has enough charge), and even idles; but it dumps fuel. I'll see if there's a MPR at a local yard. By any chance, has your manifold pressure sensor come loose at either ends or developed leaks? That's one thing that'll tell the injectors to *dump* fuel, as the brain always thinks that you've got the throttle wide open. -Greg ------------------------------------------------------------------- List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list or mailto:help@vwtype3.org
