I've used this method for many moons, then, in a fit of extravagance, bought a 'panel removal tool' at the local generic auto parts store. It looks like a very wide-tipped screwdriver, bent, with a slot in the middle. I felt silly. What a waste of $4.99. Then I used it- it's Easier and faster than the screwdriver! It almost never damages the panel or fastener. If you use a piece of wood (like a paint stirring stick) under it to protect the paint, you can pull a panel off in 30 seconds! ANd if you act now, you'll get this full set of Ginsu knives FREE.... <grin> Toby B Jim Adney sagely advised: > > I have a 68 Square and I was wondering if anybody could give me some > > pointers on how to get the door pannels off. > > Remove the door latch bezel and window winder > > Work a large screwdriver under the edge of the panel and carefully > pry it out. There are a series of clips every 4-6" that just need to > be popped out. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Search old messages on the Web!
