If the gen light flickers at idle, it is probably a loose belt. Inspect the
belt, and replace it if bad. Tighten it by moving one shim at a time, from the
inside of the pulley halves to the outside. Don't loose them down the fan
housing, or you'll be fishing, btdt :-)
