	Man!  I once had the #3 exhaust nuts come loose at the head.  All
*kinds* of noise, no power, thought the engine was toast.  That was like
100 miles into a 6,125 mile trip.  Was soooo happy when I found out that
that was all it was!

	Also, if one of those $1 clamps 'twixt heater box & header gets
loose, your max rpms -- or at least the apparent smoothness, I haven't a
tach -- goes way down.

	These, I'm sure, would have nothing to do with your hesitation,
Steven, but I thought I'd just second the opinion on the nuttiness that can
be caused by loose exhaust bits in my experience.
