A Yes (with explanation) > or No (no explanation) will do fine. Steve, My 73 has H4 units from the factory, but the wattage is just slightly higher than the candles US cars got. I can not recommend 100/80 bulbs though, even if you don't need to upgrade the wiring to put them in. The reason for this is that this too much for the lights, they cant take the heat that the 100/80s put out. Any higher wattage will fry your electrics, this was unfortunately done in my car by some DPO. Anyhow, check your voltage at the bulbs, with both bulbs installed, engine running and light on. The voltage at the lights should not be lower than 12,5 volts if the battery gets it's specified juice. If it is lower than 1,5 volt at the lights compared to the battery, install some relays.
