I don't think I'd attempt to install this with the engine in the car, 
particularly if the linkage is missing too. How bad is it? You're in 
Phoenix, James, you needn't worry about it. I've only recently scored 
the linkage for mine, and I intend to reinstall the flaps I removed when 
I rebuilt (after all, they're superfluous air impediments without 
linkage), but not until I'm taking the car out of service for overall 
r&r anyway.
