[T3] Muffler paint

You get what you pay for. BBQ paint is cheap.

Also, the paint on the exhaust as it comes from the manufacturer is
unlikely to be very good quality; and should probably be stripped, for
best results. However, if you are going to go to that effort, you
probably want better paint, too. And if you are going to put that much
effort into protecting your exhaust from rust, you might want to think
about getting a higher quality muffler.

Or, you could just spray some BBQ paint on it and slap it on.

What kind of results are you looking for; and how much time/money are
you willing to spend?

P.S. parts available from my dearly departed '71 fastback, as well as
some other stray type III parts.
