>From Ned: >I've found a set of single barrel webers on a T3 squareback. They're >brazilia made, but don't say much else on them. >Are they 34 ICTs? Don't know and have my doubts, but I will take a look at my 34 ICTs and let you know what is written on them. >How do i tune them? The key of C works well for mine. >Are they better them my finikly FI system? Oh, Ned, you like to shake the hornet's nest, don't you? This is an long-running (and sometimes festering) sore among T3 owners. Convi¹”j wisdom says that a well-maintained FI system will outperform a carbed system in EVERY aspect of performance. I personally accept this proposition as being valid. We apostates who have, however, fallen away from this Truth have generally done so on the notion that we can maintain carbs easier than we can maintain FI. That premise is hotly debated by those of the FI faith, but it is one that I find viable for my soi-disant life style. I drive a '71 Square with dual Weber carbs and am satisfied. You will receive some marvelous recommendations and advice from partisans in both camps. Take it all in, study the issues, then do what is right for YOU. And, whichever side you take, perhaps hiring a bodyguard might be in order. Good luck to you.
