[T3] auto to manual, etc.(long)

I have a '73 manual fastback with a good engine, tranny, etc. the problem 
with the car is that there is severe rust in the engine compartment area and 
behind the rear seat. the floorpans are also fairly rusty. i recently 
purchased a '73 automatic fastback that got hit by a train in the front end. 
both fenders, hood, and front apron are trashed. the front axle is bent too. 
the engine, transmission, steering box, and rear axle are gone. besides the 
front end of the car, it is pretty much rust free. i've stripped the interior 
completely and the floorpans are in excellent shape. i have pulled most of 
the wiring out and used the fuse box to replace the one in my running car. i 
have been told that because of the rust on the other car, it might be a 
better idea to have the front end on the wreck fixed(the other car has a good 
front end). i have all new fuel lines in the manual and have new brakes and 
the wiring has recently been fixed. do you think it would be worth it try and 
fix the car that has been wrecked? i am more interested in the finished 
product than the cost. how much work is required to convert the car to 
manual? would there be much more work than just installKuãmanual 
transmission from the other car? have any of you had experience with similar 
situations where everything that is good about one car is bad on the other 
and vice versa. thank you for any suggestions you might have.
