RE: [T3] Good place to buy carbs?

Hey, originating from NJ, NYer's and NJer's and their ilk can be pretty
rude. It's part of the culture. It's so dirty, and busy, and generally
rude there, that being rude just sort of happens. My advice is, stand your
ground. If they bully you out of it, then you didn't want it badly enough.
When dealing with these kinds, and they tell you to F off, I tell them F
right back. At that point they usually think, 'Oh, this A-hole ain't so
bad,' their mindset shifts, and they usually get helpful after that.

Of course, here out west where every chucklehead carries a 9mm, if somebody
tells me F off, I usually say, 'okay, sir,' and slink away, keeping my eyes
on his hands, to make sure he isn't reaching for the 9. But then, I *am* an
A-hole.

	From Cayson:

	> I need to get a set of Weber 34 ICTs for my Fasty. ...Performance
Parts >Warehouse, any experiences with them?

Yep. I bought my 34 ICTs from them.

Experience? Well, when I initially phoned PPW for information, I
got the impression that they were mightily PO'ed to have to talk to a dummy
like me. But, I wrote it off as a possible bad throttle linkage day.
Besides, we all know how these New Yorkers are...

So, I sent in the $$$. Waited. Waited. Waited. Phoned again.Y弶Ime they were a lot more polite...and contrite. It seems they had
lost my address!

Well, after the last phone call the carbs were shipped out promptly.

On balance? Their price was right, the carbs came complete (except
one was only partly assembled...more about that in another chapter when I
gripe about having to drop my engine to complete the assembly), and all is
now well in Utah T3 land.

As to their seemingly irritated attitude about having to talk to an
ignoramus like me... well, dang it, they may be right!

Besides, we all know how these New Yorkers are....
