RE: [T3] electronic ignition

Electronic points won't float at high rpm like mechanical ones will. For my
engine this sold me as well as not having to clean/adjust the damned
mechanical ones.

Funny, most people rave about the virtues of FI -- largely electronic, by
the way -- and lament over carbs. How are simple, electronic points that
much different? Electronic points are a very logical addition in my mind
and probably would've been for VW if it were not for the total cost of them
at the time.

Oh, I get it...duh...they weren't STOCK so, obviously, they are inferior.
Just had to get in the proper mind-set.
