>From the minutia corner....Does anyone have experience with 1970 turn signal switches, specifically the nylon cancelling tab? The picture in Bentley (the text is too brief) shows a tension spring that sits inboard, toward the steering shaft, that evidently returns the tab to a retract position when the cancelling ring on the steering wheel trips the tab which in turn returns the turn signal lever to the neutral position. Mine has no spring, and consequently, no protrusion ofðËÈ when the turn signal lever is moved. A compression spring on the outboard side of the tab (located inside the mechanism, like near the detent ball) would make more sense to me. Am I missing something here (besides the spring)? Your thoughts (and experiences) please. Thanks, Dave Timmins ------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe? mailto:type3-request@vwtype3.org, Subject: unsubscribe
