I'm assuming you want the switch, not the lock cylinder. Rocky Mountain Motor Works cataloged those, not too long ago. Unless it's totally disastered, it could be taken apart and rebuilt, I did that a while back after replacing mine. It's a pretty simple mechanism. If you put a relay in the starter circuit, your switch contacts will last much longer, too. Details on how to get the lock cylinder and switch out are in Bentley, tedious, but doable. I also have a '71 SB, are you sure the harness plug at the bottom of the column is on the switch connector contacts? Had that drop off once tooling down a bumpy road. One other thing, you have to take the switch plug there apart to get the contacts back up through the steering column when pulling the switch, or at least I did. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Search old messages on the Web!
