Ohhh heck what are you guys moaning about. Here in the UK gas is about 70 pence a litre. That makes it around LGB 2.80 a gallon (our gallons are bigger) which comes out around four and a hˆY<ars per gallon.

Add to this the fact that I live in Scotland which is an oil exporting nation.

Around 80% of the pump price is tax.
