Also this car's got 113,000 and I'm curious as to how well > the fuel injection is on these cars. Is carbeuration better?? Where WERE you working? You know where the fuel pump is, but the fuel pump relay is under the dash, the fuel pump fuse is under the dash in the main fuse box, the main power relay is under the back seat, the brain is under the LR fender, and the wires that control it run from the brain, through the engine compartment, under the back seat, under the dash, and to the fuel pump. When you get in the car, shut the door, and turn the key ON (don't start it!) do you hear a relay click at the moment the key turns on? Do you also hear a second click about 1 second later? Which year is your car and is it an automatic? The FI is extremely reliable and cheap to operate. If you get completely lost, it would be much cheaper, and more reliable in the long run, to pay me to drive to Milwaukee and fix your car than to convert to carbs. Assuming your car was running up until recently, your problem is probably quite simple and cheap to fix.
