Maybe that's not what it's called. It's the area of body right behind the
front wheels. You know, where the back of the fender turns 90 degrees to
form the floor. That area where it makes that bend is all rusted out.

I hope this crude picture helps. The arrow in front of "wing" points the
the area I call the wing, and it is rotted out, as well as about a foot
and a half of the rocker panel.
