[Which side of | the hump?] Jim, The F to R brake line runs on the same side of the hump that "your" pedals reside. For us it is the opposite side to the pedals. | I believe Dave | mentioned | checking to see if there is wetness on the bottom of the | MC boot. | He's right, that would be the key piece of info. As per Dave's comments yes it seems it was leaking out the back of the MBC. I've kept a steady watch on the wetness and I think (will check again tonight) that is has stopped. Ie there doesn't seem to be any further dripping but the area is still moist. Hoping that it was only the fluid in the tunnel that ran up when the car was raised I've cleaned out as much as I can. But will keep an eye on it for the next week or so. | | Also, if your line is on the left, then it is not a | vulnerable as | ours since your snow covered shoes don't keep it wet every | time you | drive in the winter. Of course your airbox drains could | be plugged | thus allowing rain to get in and to that job for you. We've cleaned the airbox holes out and it definitely hasn't been outside in the weather for any rain to get into it. (Although, I should give her a wash!) Thanks for all your help Jim, Dave and those others who had input.
